Reconnecting with familiar faces, making new friends, establishing new traditions, and honoring cherished ones – it all makes up some of the best parts of Christmas, and it makes sharing the holiday season with you so special for us. Making Memories
The most heart-warming part of the season is seeing how many of you have made our store part of your own Christmas traditions. Whether you gathered your family in the Greenhouse for a holiday photo, searched the hanging evergreen forest for the perfect Christmas tree, or found this year’s special ornament in our Christmas Shop, we were thrilled to be a part of your plans for the season.

Gathering Together
During our holiday events, we enjoyed the chance to visit with so many of you and hear what makes Christmas so special for you and your families. Once again, our annual Holiday Gala surpassed all our expectations, and it was your generosity and joyful presence that made it all happen. This year, we partnered with Keep Omaha Beautiful, a long-standing advocate for making our city a more healthy, beautiful, and environmentally sustainable place to live. Thanks to you, we raised over $6,400 to help Keep Omaha Beautiful continue the incredible projects and programs that engage and educate our community in the importance of community stewardship and the lasting impact of a vibrant urban landscape.
And each year, we look forward to welcoming Santa and two of his own reindeer for a visit – a tradition that occupies a special place in our hearts. We look forward to seeing the littlest faces light up with delight at that first magical glimpse of those huge antlers and soft, brown noses. And of course, Santa was delighted to see all the families again and hear the holiday wishes of each young visitor.

Sharing That Creative Passion
A certain energy fills the air when creative people gather to “talk shop” – and it’s that energy you bring to our holiday DIY demonstrations that make them so engaging and fun. We love demonstrating our ideas, blending them with yours, and sharing in our mutual passion for creating beautiful spaces. Whether your decorating projects included the mantel, a Christmas tree, or outdoor containers, we loved seeing you at our demonstrations and hearing how it all comes together in your own homes for the holidays.

A Season to Remember
We hope you’ve enjoyed sharing the fun and magic of this holiday season with us as much as we have with you. A whole new year is about to begin, and we can’t wait to see what adventures it brings. Our winter hours begin this week – 9am to 6pm – and we’re excited for a new season packed with fascinating plants, exciting events, and all kinds of new experiences.
