The holiday season will be here soon, and a certain excitement is beginning to build around our store. For months, we’ve been quietly preparing. We have to start early – bringing in inspiring new décor, unpacking boxes, decorating trees – and now it’s finally time for you to see what we’ve been up to. We hope you’ll join us on Friday, October 11th, from 3pm to 7pm, for our Members’ Christmas Opening – a time to share in the spirit of the holiday season as we enjoy wine and desserts, and a first look at this year’s Christmas collection.
Inspiration + Conversation
At the event, you’ll find everything you need to create a warm and festive holiday at your home – and tons of ideas to match your own style. Our team will be here too, sharing the inspirations and the stories behind the incredible collection we’ve brought together this year. You’ll find creative twists on classic themes as well as brand new ones to discover too.
As you explore, look for all fifteen of our beautifully curated trees – covered with twinkling lights and thousands of unique ornaments and botanicals representing an array of decorative collections. Some you’ll remember – like Santa, Nordic, and Snowman. But others are new collections including Midnight Garden, Holiday Memory, and Winter Wonderland.
And if getting this first taste of the holidays inspires you to get a head start on your own decorating, we’ll have our entire collection of lifelike trees, wreaths, and garlands available too.
Treasured Collectibles
Find a new family keepsake or add a treasure to your own collection from our selection of Christmas collectibles. This year, we’re excited to bring in two additional Christmas villages from Department 56 for you to enjoy – Dicken’s Village and Christmas in the City. Our Snow Village collection is growing as well. Discover new buildings and other pieces including the village airport, a new hockey pond, and Scooter’s Diner with a rotating sign. You’ll also find expanded assortments of treasured pieces like KWO incense smokers – including an exciting new train engine and cars – Byers’ Choice carolers, and Richard Glasser Christmas pyramids. Our collection of Christopher Radko glass ornaments is back too as well as folk art Santas, new styles of our popular glitter lanterns, entertaining essentials, and lots more.
Personalized Gifts
Our Christmas Opening is a great opportunity to do a little gift shopping too. In the Atrium, we’ve recreated the look and feel of a European Christmas market – complete with a toy market, so you’ll even find gifts for all ages. And we’re pleased to welcome back professional calligrapher Cheryl Dyer to our event. When you’ve selected your presents, stop by our gift-wrap station where Cheryl will add a personalized touch to each beautifully-wrapped gift – and make the holidays even more special for someone you love.
