As the days get shorter, a certain excitement begins to build around our store – the holiday season will be here soon. For months, we’ve been quietly preparing – bringing in inspiring new décor, unpacking boxes, decorating trees – and now it’s finally time for you to see what we’ve been up to. We hope you’ll join us on Friday, October 12th, from 3pm to 7pm, for our Members’ Christmas Opening – a time to share in the spirit of the holiday season as we enjoy wine, desserts, specialty drinks from Archetype Coffee, and a first look at our new Christmas collection.
New Holiday Inspiration
At the event, you’ll find lots of inspiration and everything you need to create a warm and festive holiday at your home. Our team will be here too, sharing their inspirations and the stories behind the incredible products we’ve brought together this year. This year’s holiday collection features new twists on classic themes as well as brand new ones to discover too. As you explore, look for all fifteen of our beautifully curated trees – covered with twinkling lights and thousands of unique ornaments and botanicals representing decorative themes such as Starry Night, Winter Forest, Farmhouse, and Nordic.
Treasured Collectibles
For something really special – maybe a new family keepsake or an added treasure for your holiday collection – our selection of Christmas collectibles has new surprises this year too. We’re excited to add the charming nutcrackers from quality German maker Steinbach to our collection alongside our Ulbricht line. You’ll also find expanded assortments of treasured pieces like KWO incense smokers, Byers’ Choice carolers, and Richard Glasser Christmas pyramids. And our Snow Village from Department 56 is growing as well. You’ll see new buildings, skating ponds, and accessories including a fun group centered around the house from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Our collection of Christopher Radko glass ornaments is back too – in a newly-expanded display – as well as a vintage-inspired Toy Shoppe, folk art Santas, cozy holiday pillows and throws, holiday entertaining essentials, and more.
Personalized Gifts
Our Christmas Opening is a great opportunity to do a little gift shopping too. We’re pleased to welcome back professional calligrapher Cheryl Dyer to our event. When you’ve selected your presents, stop by our gift-wrap station where Cheryl will use her remarkable talent to add a personalized touch to each beautifully-wrapped gift – and make the holidays even more special for someone you love.
